Report from Vegas: Glu Sends Boxing Fan to Fight of the Year

0Comments

Glu gamer Timothy Hartmann wrote to tell us what it was like to be the lucky winner of all-expense-paid trip to attend the highly anticipated Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight in Las Vegas. The contest was to celebrate the worldwide launch of Super K.O. Boxing 2.

From Timothy:
I just wanted to take the time to write a quick thank you to everyone at Glu for hooking me up with an amazing trip to Las Vegas to witness the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight.

Winner!

When I first got word that I was the grand prize winner, I thought it was a joke because I never win anything when it comes to contests. When I originally heard about the contest on Facebook, I thought to myself, “I don’t even know why I am taking the time to fill out this entry form. I am never going to win.”

But little did I know that a month later I’d receive a phone call proclaiming me the grand prize winner. Wow, I still can’t believe that I won! Immediately I began calling all my friends and family to rub it in that I was going to see my favorite fighter: Manny Pacquiao.

Not only was I excited to see the fight, but it was also my birthday weekend. Now I had another reason to celebrate, and celebrate in style - Vegas Style!!!

Winning the grand prize ended up being the easiest part; the hardest part was deciding whom to take with me. But after receiving many phone calls from friends begging and pleading for me to take them, I weighed all my options and finally decided. The floor seats were amazing. I was so close to the ring. The fight was everything that I had hoped for, especially since Manny destroyed Cotto.
So again, thank you to Glu for the unbelievable experience of spending a weekend in Vegas and getting to see one of the best boxing matches of the year.

Tickets!
