New and Improved - Beat It! - Now with Sharing!

Hi there, this is Yichel from team Beat It!

First and foremost, we’d like to say THANK YOU for all the great reviews and comments from everyone. We are so happy to hear that people enjoy the game as much as we do.

Second, I’m happy to let you know that we did not sit idle for the past few months. We heard your request for a way to share the beats you create, and we have been working hard to make it happen. Today I’m happy say that a free update is live in the App Store and waiting to be downloaded!

If you’ve been dying for the world to hear your Beat It! inspired homage to the New Kids on the Block, now’s your chance. Upload the beat for others to play, or share beats directly to your Facebook friends. While you’re there, you can rate, listen, and play beats too!

We’ve churned through hundreds of beats the past few weeks in preparation of this update, but nothing compares to what you guys can create. I’ve checked out a few so far, and they sound pretty sweet.

Except for one called Trill2.

That was shared with me by my friend Cat. I downloaded it, listened to it, played it as a level, but ultimately rated it a 2. (It kind of sounded like rats walking on crinkly paper. Here’s hoping that she picks up a Junior Boys album sometime soon).

But in all seriousness, I hope you guys have fun with this whether you are seasoned electronic musicians or just starting out playing with drum machines. Keep it trill.
